Hi White Ashians,

If you missed our last update where we were talking about the new Kickstarter, please check it out. I go into detail about all the things that are on the horizon for White Ash and White Ash comics. 

But so I don't bury the lede, the new Kickstarter is LIVE.

The Skylar Patridge variants are going fast, so get in quick if you want one.  As we mentioned in the last update, this campaign is for a remastered version of Chapter 05 and an all new Lillian short story. The goal is to raise extra production funds so we can put more White Ash projects into the pipeline so there's less of a wait for you to get your books.

A little new White Ash in two Weeks, with a LOT more on the way

Hello White Ashians,

Hope you've been well, we have a lot to tell you about today, starting with a new Kickstarter Campaign that's going live on March 18th, for an all-new Lillian from White Ash short story.

Make sure you SIGN UP to be notified the moment we're live. That way you won't miss out on our early-bird specials and limited-edition rewards that are our way of saying thank you to our returning backers.

Additionally, this campaign is also for a reprint of Chapter 05 that includes both the original Kickstarter Chapter 05 material but also the new content we created for the direct market. (Don't worry, White Ash 08 is coming this year, see below) It will have several pin ups inside and it will feature Conor Hughes' cover with our new White Ash Imprint/ drop tab on it.

Why reprint?  Well, honestly aside from wanting all our books to feature Conor's spiffy design of our new White Ash Imprint logo, we've been a victim of our own success and we don't have enough copies of Chapter 05 left to keep offering catch up tiers of White Ash. This campaign should let us print enough to tide us over through White Ash 08 (this fall) until we reach the next Hardcover collection. And we have a full slate this year until we get there (again, more on that below).  

But what if you already had a version of Conor's cover?  Well, we have two incredible variants, starting with this low print run variant (only 250 copies) with a cover by Glarien series artist, Romina Moranelli.

And if limited edition variants are your thing, we'll have an even lower print run cover by Skylar Patridge (Supergirl, Resonant ). A red foil logo version of this cover will be our WonderCon Exclusive this year (and available in VERY limited amount through this campaign).

This campaign will be very reasonably priced with lots and lots of deals (including books priced below $10). We want to make it easy for you to support us. Our goal here is to raise money to reprint Chapter 05, but also get our larger slate into production so we can get books to you faster.  We've wanted to put out more White Ash for a while now, but multiple events (mostly happy ones) have conspired to slow down some of the process. But with your help, our plan for the remainder of the year includes releasing:

• HISMWTC 03
• The first White Ash Annual
• White Ash 08
• And a Thane and Glarien one shot. 

And with the help of your support on this Kickstarter, all of these titles should be ready to go to print when their respective Kickstarters launch. 

It's hard to believe that in one month we'll be celebrating the 7 year anniversary from when we launched the first issue of White Ash. At the time, I was hopeful that this comic thing might work out. What we've built with White Ash has blown any and all expectations out of the water many times over. This journey has lead me down an epic path where I've gotten to meet and collaborate with so many incredible creators and interact and get to know so many of our amazing fans. And now, with your help, we're going to take this all to the next level. We're going to make White Ash Comics a publishing imprint that creators will be excited to join and make comics, for all of you to enjoy for years to come.

White Ash at LACC and Glarien 03

Hey White Ash Fans,

Just wanted to give you a couple of quick updates.  First of all, White Ash 08 (the next issue) is underway.  We are looking to launch a KS for that early next year.  We'll be back soon with news on that. 

In the meantime, our latest Glarien campaign is drawing to a close. So if you want to pick up the next issue of that series you have 4 days left to back it HERE.

In other exciting news, if you’re in Los Angeles, please join White Ash Comics at Los Angeles Comic Con from the 1st to the 3rd of December. White Ash, Glarien and The Game Co-Creator Conor Hughes will be flying out to join me (Charlie) at our booth (location TBD). This will be a large booth and we’ll have tons of White Ash and Glarien comics, merch and rare exclusives on hand to sign. Conor, who in addition to White Ash has been slumming it recently with Skybound doing covers for Walking Dead and Void Rivals, will be setting up camp to do a few sketch covers (max 2 a day).

We know that not all of you can make it to LACC or were quick enough to snag one of the few Glarien 03 sketch covers we had as part of the campaign. So we're offering up his commission slots as  add-ons. The last two just dropped a few minutes ago. If all our backers snatch them up, then his slots will be full for the convention.

Thanks again, everyone. We know it's been a hot minute since the last issue of White Ash. But rest assured, it will be worth the weight. So much more in store for Aleck, Lillian and the rest of the residents of everyone's favorite mining town.

The Kickstarter for Glarien 03 just went LIVE.

This will be our last campaign of the year.  Next year we'll be leading off with White Ash 08 in February. But we invite you to join us today to save on early-bird specials. This time around we're also offering Holiday Gift Boxes. 

These boxes will ship out the first week in December and are the perfect way to introduce your fantasy-loving friends to the White Ash Universe. So join us NOW.

Glarien 03 is coming soon

Hi White Ashians,

Thank you all so much for filling out our poll from last update. It was very helpful for planning next year's campaigns.  But before we jump into 2024, we wanted to give you a quick heads up that we will be running one last campaign this year for Glarien: Origins 03. 

This campaign will be going live on Monday, October 16th. As always, you can sign up to be notified when we launch. That way you won't miss out on our early-bird specials and limited edition rewards that are our way of saying thank you to our returning backers.

As for next year, look for White Ash 08 to hit towards the end of January/ early February.  We'll be following that up later on in the year with another (untitled) White Ash project.  There will also be more Glarien.  It's going to be a very White Ash Universe-centric year.  (Including some things we can't wait to tell you about). 

Anyway, thank you again. Conor, Fin and I can't tell you how much we appreciate all the support year after year. Together we've made White Ash one of the biggest brands on Kickstarter.  And here's to an even brighter future.
