When will White Ash Return?

Hello White Ashians,

A couple of you had reached out to ask me when the next issue of White Ash was coming out. So I thought I'd post an update here to give you the latest. So as most of you know, right now we're running a campaign for Glarien: Short and Deadly.  This collects eight short stories about Glarien, the most dangerous elf in the White Ash Universe.  

This book has been designed to be the perfect companion to the White Ash HC, with a spine that will line up nicely when you put your White Ash collection on the shelf.  If you haven't had a chance to check out this campaign yet, we'll be live for another 17 days.  

After Glarien: Short and Deadly concludes and Conor finishes up his pages for The Game 03, he'll be shifting over to White Ash: Chapter 08.  Right now we anticipate that hitting Kickstarter early this summer.  From there, Conor will be shifting back to The Game 04 and 05 which concludes the first arc of that series.  After that, Conor will be back on White Ash for the foreseeable future as White Ash: Chapter 09, which will wrap up the second arc will be a huge, oversized 64 page plus issue.

Thank you again for being such incredible fans and being patient with us as we continue to build the White Ash Universe together. I know we'd all like it to be coming out a bit quicker, but I can tell you based on what's in store, it's going to be worth the wait.

Hello White Ashians,

As the year closes out, we want to give you a few updates on the White Ash Universe. First, the Glarien 14 page bonus story drawn by Tripwires “Best New Talent” award-winner Anna Morozova will be out next week. Fin is just putting on the final bits of color, but it’s looking incredible and we can’t wait to show it to you. For now, here’s a tiny taste.

Also, we're thrilled announce that in less than two weeks, The Game returns to Kickstarter. 

Launching on October 17th, The Game is a grounded science fiction side-project that Conor and I started a couple of years ago that we’re excited to be returning to after a long (too long) hiatus. Think Quantum Leap (the original series, not the remake), if Sam happened to jump into the body of The Highlander  and then got dragged into a sexy noir thriller.

This campaign is for issues 1-3. If you were thinking about checking this book out, now’s the time as we ONLY have 250 copies left of the first printing of issue one. And once those are gone, we’ll be going back to print on it. So sign up to be notified when we go live. 

That said, if science fiction is not your thing, we have another reason for White Ash fans to check this campaign out. Leaning into the game theme, the Kickstarter for The Game 1-3 will also offer a deck of playing cards featuring all the characters from our Greater White Ash Comics slate of books (White Ash, Glarien and The Game).

The 54 card deck will be based on Conor’s designs that we’ve been gradually doling out over the past couple of years.

We'll be swapping in a few characters from Glarien and The Game, but if you like this general look of these, you're going to love having this set. This deck will be offered as its own reward tier (and as an add-on) so if for some inexplicable reason The Game comic isn’t enticing to you, White Ash backers will be able to just get the card set. There will be early-bird deals offered on the Deck (both as a tier and an add-on) as well as the comic, so make sure you sign-up to be notified when The Game goes live. We really want these discounted reward tiers to go to you, our most loyal backers.

We’ll be back next week with the Morozova short and more updates on our Kickstarter schedule for next year.
